I started the business in 2013 after taking early retirement from the RSPCA where I had worked for 21 years.

 

I began my career with the RSPCA as an operational RSPCA officer and worked my way up the ranks, culminating as the Director of operations for the Midlands and North of England.

My extensive experience working for the world renowned animal welfare charity means that I have an in depth understanding of the welfare needs of numerous species of animals and their individual requirements. This ensures that the welfare of any animal entrusted to us receives the highest level of care during their time with us and their well-being is the most important factor of the journey they take.

We are a family business - my wife also has over 16 years experience working in the animal welfare sector.

PATS provides a quality bespoke road transportation service for pet animals throughout the UK. We specialise in cats and dogs but have experience in  dealing will all species of domestic pets.

Our vehicles are approved by the UK government's Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs which means that the vehicles are fitted out to a very high standard which ensures maximum comfort for the animals at all times.
