We provide a personalised pet transportation service for all species of domestic animals (with the exception of livestock and equines.) 

We specialise in providing bespoke transportation tailored to your specific requirements and that of your pet in high quality, safe and comfortable vehicles. 

We can also offer transportation of yourself and your pets if required.

We also run shared trips with small numbers of animals across the UK but we keep numbers to a minimum to ensure that all of our clients still receive a high level of care and attention throughout their journey with us.

For those with larger pet families wanting to relocate we have a range of vehicles, the largest of which has the capacity to carry eleven large dogs and this accommodation can be modified to house groups of cats or small furries so please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Alongside the pet transportation company we also run a local dog walking and pet sitting business so if your dog needs a temporary stop over on their journey we have a five star home boarding license to board them in our own home.

PATS is run by myself, Mike Hogg, and I have over twenty five years experience working within the animal care industry.  I worked for the RSPCA for 21 years starting as an RSPCA Inspector and finishing my career with them as regional manager for the North of England and the Midlands. I use all of the experience and knowledge I gained during my time working for the RSPCA to ensure that animal welfare is at the heart of everything that we do.

We have a small team that are expertly trained in animal care and the requirements of animals during transport, each member of the team has an understanding of the current statutory requirements that pets need wherever they might be travelling and can advise you about this prior to any booking, ensuring safe and compliant transport of your pet to the desired location.

When choosing a pet animal transporter we recommend that you ensure that they hold the correct authorisations from DEFRA to carry out this service.

 

We hold the following authorisations & certificates:

• DEFRA specialist vehicle approval certificate

Be aware of scams - there are a currently a number of facebook scams whereby people are being offered free puppies if they pay for transportation. These scammers are using legitimate company's details but asking for money to be paid into foreign bank accounts.

We will always deal with your enquiries directly not through a third party and we will provide you with a written quotation for services prior to asking you for payment.
